POSTDOCS AND INTERNS
January 2020 - Present
DYLAN B. LEE
Dylan is a postdoctoral fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory funded by the National Academy of Sciences. He is currently working on extracting aeolian streamers from video, CFD simulations of tidal fluctuations and assisting with the development of the field-Particle Tracking Velocimetry system.
Summer 2020
MICHEAL AMOS
Myk is a masters student in the Earth and Environmental Sciences department at the University of New Orleans. He spent his summer working on various methods to extract aeolian streamers from video.
Summer 2019
PETER TERESZKIEWICZ
Pete is a Ph.D. student at the University of South Carolina. He spent the summer developing a GUI-enabled program called ATTRACS: the Aeolian Turbulence and Transport Rapid Computational Suite.
DISSERTATION COMMITTEES
JINSU BAE, UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA
I am an external committee member for Jinsu Bae, a Ph.D. student working under Dr. Douglas Sherman. Jinsu is focused on the threshold of motion for windblown sand.
MADDY KELLEY, ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY
Maddy is a Ph.D. student working under Dr. Ian Walker. I am serving as an external committee member for Maddy's dissertation. She is focused on turbulence and transport, and particularly, observing these data using Particle Tracking Velocimetry.
